I was born right before Gen. Eisenhower took the oath of office for his first term as president of the United States. Yes, I am that old! If readers don't know who that American president was, search engines are wonderful things!
Anyway, right after Ronald Reagan took office I received my Masters of Divinity. Yes, another historical reference. [No web bot is going to grab MY info!] Suffice it to say, I have been out of school for quite a few years.
For about two years now I have been slowly "translating" the New Testament in the order that it was written. I have been using software linking Greek text to Strong's concordance. I started with James, then on to Galatians, and so on. I just finished Romans (that was an adventure!) And presently am in the midst of the "Christmas story" in Luke!
I am married, living happily with my wife of 31 years. We are the proud parents of four adult children, and two grandchildren (by our second son). Our firstborn son has graduated from this life, awaiting the grand reunion!
