Children having children

Submitted by scott on 2006-09-11

When we think of the world today and what it has become, who has made it this way? Our fathers? Yes this is true, however, once upon a time they were children. They were afraid. They were ambitious. They once were innocent and were strong. The children of today will be the world of tomorrow. What will it be like then? (Ecclesiastes 1:4)

A child is born pure and without the understanding of adults. They are how God wants them. (Matthew 18:3) We are the ones that infect their minds and teach them of earthly things in which they spread to their children. Consider three babies: one black, one white and one yellow. They do not see race. They do not see religion. They see another baby. They live in the light. We introduce darkness through our habits; habits that man doesn't understand as being wrong. How are we fit to teach the little ones?

Parents are in control of the lives of their children. They decide their fate. There is a big problem with dicipline and the fact that we don't do it. In the United States, we are restricted in how we punish wrong-doing. Only through punishment can one be straightened out. And if you don't dicipline, they will expect to get away with it. They will, however be caught in the end. It is up to you to save your own child's life. (Proverbs 23:14)

I witness children having children. In my family and throughout the world. Tell me, what rights does an adolescent have to teach if they could not be taught themselves? What will their offspring turn into? However, if we teach righteousness, then they shall be obedient. (Proverbs 22:6)

A child is a blessing and a gift from God. Why do we abuse the gift and turn it into sin against him?
